Support Page
This is our Support Page – right now, we really need financial support to help move all our equipment from one location to the other!!
If you'd like to support this project, there are a few different ways:
Get a membership – this is the most active and supportive way for you to help us carry on supporting you all.
GoFundMe – if you can't get a membership or don't live locally but still want to support us, thank you 💛 every pound makes a difference. Your support is essential for us to survive in this rough and open city.
Buy a print – our art, craft, time, passion, love, practice, our love poured into these prints. They represent and document the time and light we invest in our creativity. Grab one or two :)
Join a workshop – come and learn, have fun with us, and ease into the photography journey in a gentle, respectful way. Open your mind to photography as craft, as art, as a medium to express yourself freely.
MUS Darkroom Supporter - Support remotely.
Every penny we receive through this Support Page will go towards the darkroom move. And if we manage to raise the funds, we’ll also throw an opening party – oooofffff course!!
We also have a beautiful project: Our Found Negatives. These are around 20 negatives that were found in East London. We don’t know the author or photographer behind the images, but we have a few theories. We’re printing them to help raise some funds too.
Wanna support Musings? This is a every 2 months support to help us continue with this project
Musings Darkroom is moving to a new location, and we are building a new sanctuary for stopping time and light. This transition is an invitation for our community of practitioners to support the creation of a space dedicated to the process of making.
To fund this new home, we are sharing a collection of prints from the archive. Each print serves as a representation of strength, capturing the moments of mistake, chance and repetition that define our craft. Choosing a print is a way to support a future where we continue to inhabit respect and make justice through our work.
A New Sanctuary for the Process
Our new space remains a dedicated environment for creative growth and collaboration. We are creating a home where the body is the protagonist, allowing every practitioner to breathe in, breathe out and relax while exploring their personal vision. Every contribution through our print collection directly builds this sanctuary, ensuring the darkroom remains a place for tenderness, gentleness and making amends.
